Kotor restaurants & cafes

Kotor is a UNESCO old town wrapped in the bay: Mediterranean and Adriatic cooking, seafood and Boka specialties in stone-walled konobas. Vetted places inside the walls and around the waterfront.

Inside Kotor’s walls the squares are lined with restaurants and wine bars; along the Bay of Kotor (Boka) you’ll find seafood konobas, mussels and fresh fish from the bay. The old town is more touristy and pricier; Dobrota and Muo just outside are calmer and often better value.

Below are our vetted places in Kotor. For the basics of Montenegrin and Boka cuisine — buzara mussels, black risotto, fresh fish, local wine — see the guide to the cuisine; each venue shows the check date.
